"In Part(s)": In creating this work, I was reflecting on how we piece together identity over time and how particularly challenging this can be for LGBTQ+ people. The separate pieces were put back together in a manner that addresses kintsugi philosophy and the healing/celebrating of our lives."

"(W)hole": Our wounds, our voids, are not just things that happen along our path, they are crucial parts of the journey. They may be points at which we are injured, but they are also points at which we heal. They are to be embraced as part of our story.
